*Book Launch Complete*

So the photo book production went very well in the end. I inverted the iconic faces using the photogram process. Throughout the production process I further defaced the images: by adding objects/blocks onto the portraits during whilst photogramming; or, by scratching the images after they had dried with forks and knives. This provided a very texture led book which was inspired by the work of Victor Sloan and Dave McKean.


The format allowed users to fold the book a half page at a time. This encouraged interaction and allowed for very surreal overlaps...
The book launch, entitled Work in Progress, was held at Belfast Exposed on the 9th of December. It went very well in terms of presentations and numbers in the crowds.
